Election Day Fun

So I slept in today, drank a cup of coffee, got dressed, and headed to cast my vote. Then what to do with the rest of the entire day I got off to vote? HUMMM...

I decided to grab a few things and head into the woods. I found an old homestead on our land and an old fire pit so I decided to camp. I gathered some wood and debris and built me a fire. Then I toasted marshmellows and hotdogs. I listened to the turkey all around me (nope, Kevin was not here!) I climbed into Kevin's Deer stand and waited, and waited, and waited. Finally! I could here the turkey coming; flipping leaves as they made their way almost directly under me. It was awesome! I climbed down and went back to my fire and ate another hotdog and yet lots more toasted marshmellows! YUMMO! What a great election day! Kentucky went to McCain, by the way!

Can we go camping there next time we are in KY? Sounds like a great place to tell ghost stories!

Wow it's been so long since we have heard anything from you. I hope you are not still depressed about the election. By the way where is Ben? He still has not shown up at my house yet. I know a lot has happened in the last two months; please do tell.
