I had been so very excited for our big family get together here in Kentucky for sooooo long; now, it is over. I woke up Sunday morning to a very still quiet. It was kind of nice at first, then, as the day wore on, sad. I love my house and my husband but I really loved my house full! Normally, I am all by myself Sunday night through Friday evening as Kevin goes off to work.
Despite the HOT weather, and sometimes, HOT TEMPERS, I believe that this family get together was a huge success. And I know that the kids had a great time. I know that I had a wonderful visit!!
I realize that when so many relatives get together in one place at one time, there will be conflict. Despite the fact that we are all family, we all live VERY different lives. I would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to all my brothers and sisters to visit anytime you wish. My door is always open.
